That’s according to Manchester United legend and BT Sport pundit Rio Ferdinand.
The Gunners drew 0-0 against a resilient West Ham side on Wednesday, as David Moyes continued his impressive run of form in charge.
Wenger’s side extended their Premier League winless run to three games as they were unable to find a breakthrough against their opponents, despite having 22 shots.
Contract rebels Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil were couldn’t provide a moment of magic to turn the game in their favour and Ferdinand criticised the way Wenger set his Arsenal up.
“When you play against a team that just come and sit narrow in their penalty box, you have to move them out to areas where they don’t want to be, where you can create space within the back five,” he said.

“You get wide - Man City do it remarkably well.
“They get their two wingers and they can stay wide for the good of the team so the defenders have to come out and spread.
“Once you get people spreading then you can get runners to go in the space.

“They played narrow, they played through the middle where West Ham were strong.
“They were their own worst enemy today, Arsenal.”
