The legendary sci-fi fantasy has been previewed at Odeon and Imax cinemas and has already proven to be a hit with die-hards and film buffs alike.
Ahead of the release, there has been an explosion in demand for the Star Wars collectables.
Boot sale app Shpock has found interest in branded merchandise last month increased by 95% compared to November 2016.

Some of the rarest toys including a life-sized statue of villain Darth Maul is selling for a whopping £550 and a Star Wars juke box is fetching for an eye-watering £2,000.
Star Wars furniture was sold for £425 and a popular Lego Millennium Falcon was going for a huge £749.
Conor Gannon, a Shpock spokesman, said: “We have seen a steady increase in demand for Star Wars collectables and items in recent months.

“November alone has seen a 95% increase in Star Wars searches compared to last year.”
The first Star Wars movie was released in 1977 but the popularity of the franchise shows no signs of dropping ahead of the release of The Last Jedi.
“For many fans of the franchise, the unique items hold a special value and are therefore sold quickly, even at extremely high prices,” Conor added.

“However, fans on a smaller budget can still find cheap bargains for a couple of pounds including action figures, board games and costumes.”
Just last week, PromotionalCodes.org.uk revealed the classic items could be worth tens of thousands of pounds.
The money saving website looked at how much the vintage 1970s and 80s dolls could fetch.
