Gurgaon: Police have secured the DVR and the CCTV footage of the Blossoms Primary School in relation to the suspicious death of Dheeraj Sharma, administrative and accounts head of the Palam Vihar school.
According to the police, the 32-year-old, who was found unconscious in the school and later declared dead at the hospital, himself switched off the CCTV recording, which could have provided vital clues for solving the mystery of his death. Police, however, said that the employees working in the school say that there was nothing unusual in it because Sharma generally switched off the power button in the evening before leaving the school.
The SHO of Bajghera police station Deepak Kumar said that two caretakers, who live with their families on the third floor of the school building, had found Sharma unconscious in the morning. According to the statements of resident caretakers, Sharma was seen going into the washroom on Sunday morning at around 9:30am, and then went back to sleep in a room inside the school where mattresses are placed, which was also usual. The report of the chemical examination in the case is still awaited after the post-mortem examination failed to give any clues into Sharma's death.
