BASAVAKALYAN: Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah on Wednesday said that Congress would announce its list of candidates for the upcoming Assembly elections in Karnataka only by March.

Speaking to reporters, Siddaramaiah said that the party would weigh the pros and cons of each candidate based on internal surveys and reports before arriving at a decision.

It may be noted that the Congress has been working on the strategies keeping an eye on Assembly election 2018. Earlier this year, the state Congress committee was reorganised with 171 people as office bearers, 33 of them women.
