Piers Morgan ROASTS Dan Walker as he launches another attack on BBC Breakfast
PIERS MORGAN has launched a fresh attack on BBC Breakfast’s Dan Walker earlier today on Good Morning Britain.
The outspoken presenter, 52, has a long-term rivalry with Dan, 40, and it seems that there still hasn’t been any reconciliation between the pair.
Earlier on Good Morning Britain, Piers told his viewers: “Monday was the highest rated GMB ever after 937 shows.
“Terrible news for our rivals over on BBC. So well done me - oh us…” he swiped.
What’s more, a study into the most tweeted about shows on television found ITV’s breakfast show firmly in the top 10, with around 1.3 million tweets.
Piers added salt to the wound, joking: “So there you are - a win-win for us.

“Didn’t see BBC Breakfast on the list, unsurprisingly. Didn’t see them breaking their all-time record.
“So morning to Dan and the Gang,” he continued.
Piers wouldn’t let the stats drop, as later on in the show he decided to add insult to injury following a repetition of the news.
“Apologies to our friends at BBC Breakfast who are getting their backsides beaten.
“If we had a mic, it would be one of those ‘boom’ moments,” he laughed, while pretending to drop a microphone to the floor.
He finished: “Sadly you can’t afford us to come and save the day, so keep struggling on.”
Former BBC Breakfast host Susanna Reid remained silent through the discussion, merely raising a smirk at her co-host’s comments.
Dan clapped back at the comments on his own Twitter account earlier today, saying that Piers was “telling porkies” with his figures.
He posted to his 489,000 followers: “Stop telling porkies! It’s boring talking about figures because no-one really cares.
“If you do… yesterday was: GMB 779,000 average audience @BBCBreakfast 1,470,000 #SilverMedal.”
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays on ITV from 6am.
