Divyanka Tripathi, who gained recognition through ZEE TV’s show Banoo Main Teri Dulhan is now seen as the idealistic Ishita Bhalla in Star Plus show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. It is her birthday today and we are too excited to go through her childhood pictures. The actress grew up in Bhopal in a middle class family. She was interested in acting since her teenage days. Recently, she posted a picture from her school days where she played a role of deer or cow. She got nostalgic while rehearsing for her Nach Baliye season 8, which she eventually won with her husband Vivek Dahiya. She wrote in the post, “In #BharatnatyamPerformances all I played was a cow or a deer. 🐂🦌😁 This is how far I ever went with learning any dance form. Today whatever I do beyond that is a promotion and in life anything extra is always welcome. 🤓.”
Last year it was her first birthday post marriage and Vivek did not forget to surprise her with a romantic birthday. From taking his better half to Europe for their first wedding anniversary, and to Goa for Valentines Day, Vivek has been an adorable husband. He surely knows how to make wifey Divyanka’s day most special. Divyanka is ringing in her 33rd birthday in the island nation of Thailand. She is in Phi Phi island with her husband exploring the natural beauty of the country.
Even as a young girl she had the luck to pose with Milind Soman and dance with Shah Rukh Khan.
Divyanka had shared a picture snapped with her mom, and wrote, “I m a part of you and so proud of it. Happy Mother’s Day mamma.”
Yeh Hai Mohabbatein actress wanted to become an Indian Army officer and even enrolled in the Bhopal Rifle Academy. She has won a gold medal in rifle shooting.
The actress never leaves a chance to explore her adventurous side. She had completed her mountaineering course at the Nehru Institute of Mountaineering (Uttarkashi).
In 2004, Divyanka participated in India’s Best Cinestars Ki Khoj and was declared a winner from Bhopal zone. Isn’t it wonderful?

The actress has always groomed herself over the years and in an interview with PTI she said, “I would love to play grey shade characters but not for a daily soap. I generally go into the depth of a character. In daily soaps, we shoot for long hours and I can’t live with that negativity.” She further added, “For a film, short film, web series, I would still be comfortable playing grey shade roles as they are short-lived. The content is very limited too, so you can switch off easily. I would love to experiment but in a different medium.”
