India's Q2 CAD widens to $7.2 bn

India's current account deficit (CAD) widened to $7.2 billion in the second quarter of 2017-18, from $3.4 billion reported in the corresponding period in 2016-17, Reserve of (RBI) data showed on Wednesday.

However, on a sequential basis, the Q2 CAD narrowed sharply from $15 billion reported for the preceding quarter.
