4.20pm: Liverpool have proposed a Philippe Coutinho swap deal to Barcelona.
Barca made three bids for the Anfield ace, who handed in a transfer request in hope of forcing his dream switch to Spain.
However, Liverpool stood firm and kept hold of their key man, claiming he wasn't for sale at any price.

3.50pm: Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea may not join Real Madrid because of sharing the same agent with Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Spanish goalkeeper has been in fine form for the Red Devils this summer, keeping 12 clean sheets in all competitions.
But Diario Gol claim Jorge Mendes who represents De Gea and Ronaldo is driving a hard bargain for any deal to be done.
That’s because all is not well with the Ballon d’Or winner at the Bernabeu.
Mendes is reportedly trying to get a £10.5m salary for De Gea to leave Old Trafford for the Champions League winners.
Keylor Navas is expected to leave Real in the summer with Los Blancos wanting the United goalkeeper to replace him.
3.15pm: Mesut Ozil's agent has told Barcelona that they must make a decision on the Arsenal playmaker within the next two weeks, according to reports in Spain.
Barcelona have been heavily linked with a move for Ozil in recent weeks as the German enters the final six months of his Arsenal contract.
The former Real Madrid star is reportedly excited at the thought of joining the Catalan giants and has prioritised a move to the Nou Camp.
But Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo claim that the 29-year-old wants Barcelona to make their intentions known before the end of 2017 as he wants to sort out his future as soon as possible.
Barca general manager Pep Segura and technical secretary Robert Fernandez are understood to be huge admirers of Ozil, but consider him as a back up to No.1 target Philippe Coutinho.
