    There is plenty of scope for some big name players to make moves next month.

    Several stars - notably a couple at Arsenal - are out of contract in the summer and could make moves for a significantly reduced fee in January.

    With the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool all desperate to strengthen as Manchester City leave them in their wake in the Premier League title race, some big money deals could also go through.

    Continental megastars currently playing for the likes of Atletico Madrid, Monaco and PSG could all be making a move to England’s top flight if the price is right.
