Cong releases ‘black box’ on govt’s failures

Jaipur: Leader of Opposition Rameshwar Dudi on Wednesday released a 'black box'—a pack of cards—describing 52 failures in 52 weeks of Raje government.

Dudi said, Congress workers will not rest until the BJP government waves off farm loans in totality. He was addressing a press conference on 4th anniversary of Raje government on Wednesday.

While releasing the 'black box' at his residence at Civil Lines, Dudi said, about 70 farmers have committed suicide in the state but the government denies any such incident.

He said, the state government had formed a committee under water resources minister Dr Ram Pratap but so far the committee has not come out with any report.

The Congress staged a 72-hour dharna in the assembly demanding the farmers loan wave off but the chief minister remained absent from the House showing the insensitivity of the government towards farmers plight, he alleged.

Replying to a question if the Congress voted to power, will all farmers loan be written off, he replied, "This government has one more year to go and the Congress will not rest till all the loans of farmers are written off by this government only."

He said, during the Suraj Sankalp Yarta, CM Raje had given 612 promises, but only 40% of the promises have been fulfilled.
