One person is dead after a collision between a pedestrian and a transport truck on North Talbot Road (County Road 46) in Tecumseh on Monday night.
Pedestrian dies after being struck by tractor trailer in Tecumseh

OPP are continuing to investigate the fatal collision between a transport truck and a pedestrian on County Road 46 in Tecumseh on Monday night.
The deadly incident happened around 9 p.m. on North Talbot Road (County Road 46), between Sexton Side Road and County Road 17, just east of Windsor.
A lone pedestrian was struck by a transport truck and ended up in a ditch.
Paramedics, firefighters, and police responded — rushing the critically injured individual to an area hospital.
The pedestrian succumbed to the injuries in hospital.
County Road 46 remained closed for hours on Monday night while the OPP’s technical collision investigators studied the scene.
A tanker-style tractor trailer, meant to transport milk, was visible at the scene, on the side of the road.
