It was to no-ones surprise that young-adult drama 13 Reasons Why was picked up for a second season.
Weeks after it appeared on the streaming service it became the most-tweeted-about Netflix show to date.
It started intense debates about its sensitive topic.
Fans went wild when Selena Gomez, the show’s executive producer revealed that filming for season two was finished.
She shared a picture of herself with the cast on Instagram: “And this year wraps up with another committed journey with @13reasonswhy - Season 2 is coming.”

Actress Katherine Langford, who plays Hannah Baker, also tweeted about the show.
The post said: ”Season 2 of '13 Reasons Why' is officially finished filming! It will be out next year."
The show left people desperate to know what would happen next.
13 Reasons Why follows the story of tragic teenager Hannah Baker, who records 13 cassette tapes explaining the reason why will take her own life.
Each tape is a “reason why”.
It was revealed on Monday that Ms Langford has been nominated for a Golden Globe for her role as Hannah.
She said: “Waking up to this mornings’ incredible news after our season 2 wrap party last night…Thank you so much to the Hollywood Foreign Press Association for your nomination for Best actress in a Drama Series.”

When is 13 Reasons Why season two coming out?
Now that filming has wrapped up, it is expected the popular series will premiere early Spring 2018.
The first season premiered in the UK at the same as the rest of the world, which will probably be the case for season two.
What will happen in season two?
It is expected that the storyline of season two will carry on a couple of months after the last season ended.
Actor Dylan Minette, who plays Clay, said in an interview earlier this year: "This season particularly is a lot about recovery.
“It's naturally going to progressively get to a more emotional place, due to the nature of the story we're telling.
“I’m sure we're all heading in some dark directions again. I think anybody would be surprised if we weren’t.”

Writer Britain Yorkey teased about what might happen to Hannah.
He told The Hollywood Reporter: "Hannah's story is still very much not finished.
“She's an integral part of whatever the next chapter of the story is, and she's very much still at the centre of it.”
New actress to the show, Anne Winters, also gave a flavour of what the fans could expect from season two.
She said: “It’s such an interesting topic because, I mean, the people [in the show] who are doing wrong maybe don’t even understand that it is wrong, and the people that are going through it are thinking, 'Is this wrong?’.”
She added: “This season will explore a little of those grey areas — it’s not as black and white as last season — so that when people raise the question of, 'Well wasn’t it her fault that she did this or that?' this season shows a different take on it.”
