The DMK's candidate in the constituency Marudhu Ganesh recently approached the Madras high court seeking action in the fake voters issue. In his plea, Ganesh stated it has been found that fake voters continue to remain in the electoral list and their names were yet to be removed by the officials concerned.
Alleging that poll officials were providing wrong information to the court, the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam contestant sought a direction from the HC to immediately remove the names of fake voters.
