Liverpool have proposed a huge Philippe Coutinho swap deal to Barcelona.

Barca made three bids for the Anfield ace, who handed in a transfer request last summer in hope of forcing his dream move to Spain.

However, Liverpool stood firm and kept hold of their key man, claiming he wasn't for sale at any price.

And according to Spanish news outlet Don Balon, Liverpool are now open to sending Coutinho to Barca, if they get a player in return.

Jurgen Klopp has reportedly asked for Sergi Roberto, who can play at right-back or in the middle of midfield, in a swap deal.

However, the Spanish giants are unwilling to give up the versatile star.

Daniel Sturridge is said to be keen on a move away from Liverpool to La Liga.

That’s according to the Daily Mail who say the England international wants a transfer to revive his flagging career.

The 28-year-old was overlooked in the Merseyside derby on Sunday.

Jurgen Klopp opted to start rookie Dominic Solanke in the crunch clash against Everton instead.

The Reds boss is said to be willing to loan Sturridge.

Real Betis and Valencia are interested in the former Chelsea and Manchester City forward.

Mohamed Salah is a changed, confident man at Liverpool compared to his Chelsea days, according to Didier Drogba.

“He's becoming a boss and a leader we've seen it in the national team and seen it at Liverpool,” Drogba told BBC Sport.

“I can tell by his celebrations that he knows what he's doing now, he's not going crazy but just sticking his tongue out to say 'yeah it's me'.

“He's unpredictable he can dribble past you easily and he has has got stronger and he can score goals.”
