Liverpool news: Steve Nicol makes shock claim about Mohamed Salah joining Bayern Munich
LIVERPOOL star Mohamed Salah would not get into the Bayern Munich starting XI.
That is the view of ESPN FC pundit and former Liverpool right-back Steve Nicol.
Salah has been in fine goalscoring form for the Reds since joining from Roma last summer.
The Egyptian is the leading scorer in the Premier League with 13 goals and has also netted six times in the Champions League.
The winger has been linked with a move away from Anfield in recent days, with Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane reportedly keen on signing the 25-year-old next month.

He’ll be here next summer, he will not go anywhere, either in January, or in the summer
Nicol was initially unsure over the signing of Salah and did not believe he would get into the Liverpool side on a regular basis.
After being proven wrong, he has now made the same comment about Salah potentially joining German giants Bayern Munich, but this time with his tongue firmly in his cheek.
But he admits he cannot see him leaving Anfield anytime soon.
“He’d never get a game at Bayern,” Nicol said.

“Same as he’d never get a game at Liverpool!
“No, he’ll be here next summer, he will not go anywhere, either in January, or in the summer.”
Salah could start for Liverpool when they host West Brom tonight (8pm).
Victory would take Jurgen Klopp's side back into the Premier League top four.
