JOSE MOURINHO has taken another swipe at referee Michael Oliver following Manchester United's derby defeat to City last weekend.

Jose Mourhino felt United should have been awarded a penalty in Manchester derby

Mourinho was left seething when Oliver ignored appeals for a penalty when Ander Herrera went down under a second half challenge from Nicolas Otamendi.

But instead of pointing to the spot, Oliver booked Herrera instead as United crashed to a crushing 2-1 defeat.

The loss sparked a furious tunnel bust-up between both sides following the final whistle that has led to an FA investigation and possible charges.

Despite the huge setback to United's title chances, Mourinho has backed his side to bounce back against Bournemouth tonight.

“We have been phenomenal at home this season, so we are not going to let a clear penalty, which was not given on Sunday, dampen our spirits”

But he couldn't resist the chance to have another blast at Oliver ahead of the game in his programme notes.

Mourinho said: "We have been phenomenal at home this season, so we are not going to let a clear penalty, which was not given on Sunday, dampen our spirits.

"I know we can get back to winning ways.

"On Sunday we some things well and there were some things that we could have done better.

"But there is no time to dwell on the last match because we are in such a busy period in the calendar."
