First Celebrity Big Brother 2018 female finally revealed?

This Celebrity Big Brother season will be an all-female cast, at least for the start of the show, as a tribute to a centenary of women's suffrage.

It is set to start Tuesday 2 January, and it looks like the first CBB contestant may have been revealed.

Sandra Martin from Gogglebox fame is set to enter the house in three weeks time, according to The Sun Online.

A source told them: "Sandra is heading into the house – she’s heard a lot about it from Sandi and after Sandi’s success on the show, she wants to try it out herself.

"She's outgoing, not afraid to speak her mind and wants to grow her profile, so she’ll be great in the house. Sandi told her it’s one of the best things she’s ever done."

Sandra's shock career move comes after she was forced to pull out of her pantomime commitments due to "health reasons".

She was playing Spirit of the Ring in Aladdin in Maidenhead.

Sandra and Sandi were on Gogglebox together from 2012 to 2016.

The 55-year-old said on This Morning last year: "Well, yeah, I am going to miss it, but I decided at that time I wanted to move on to other things.

"It’s four and a half years now, and I’m just moving on, keeping up with the times."

She will certainly make an interesting addition.

CBB returns on 2 January 2018 on Channel 5.
