Love Island couple reveal shock engagement?

WHILE some of the Love Island couples are splitting up left, right and centre, other's only seem to be getting closer.

Love Island 2016's Cara De La Hoyde and Nathan Massey sparked rumours they are set to get hitched.

Cara was pictured sporting a dainty sparkler on her finger in the delivery suite.

The couple welcomed their first child earlier today, a baby boy.

Nathan, 25, shared a photo of Cara, 27, presumably in labour in hospital.

The part-time TOWIE cast member smiled for the camera, while Cara seemed to be less than impressed in the background.

He wrote alongside the image: "The day has finally come! Me and Cara have become parents to our beautiful baby boy!

"Massive hats off to Cara who delivered our boy safely! The next chapter.

"PS I hope you don’t kill me for the pic Cara."

Many of Nathan's 678,000 Instagram followers congratulated the couple on their new arrival, but other fans were much more interested in Cara's jewellery.

    FAMILY FIRST: Nathan and Cara recently reconciled after seven months apart

    Some immediately noticed her ring and began to speculate in the comment section.

    Another speculated: "An engagement ring maybe?"
