DEAL: All Moto Mods on Sale at Best Buy, Save Up to $75

Best Buy is currently hosting a sale on all of its Moto Mods accessories, perfect for anyone currently using a compatible Motorola smartphone. That could be the Moto Z, Z2, Z2 Force, or anything that takes Moto Mods.

As for what’s on sale, you can grab a new SoundBoost 2 speaker for $60, GamePad for $60, offGRID battery charger for $56, Alexa Smart Speaker for $112, Hasselblad True Zoom camera for $225, or choose from a number of other Moto Mods.

The off-grid power pack isn’t actually on sale, it’s been on clearance for weeks at that price. They’re clearing out inventory on it. I believe it’s been discontinued.

  I’m worried there’s only going to be a Z3 Play next year. The Z2 Force has dropped to nothing. You can buy it outright through T-Mobile for $375 WITH the projector mod. That’s cutting into the Z2 Play sales. Motorola knows their flagships sell horribly and reviewers seem to have a crazy hard-on for their mid-range devices. I bought my Z2 Force brand new with a brand new projector mod for $380 off of Swappa. I got most of the good mods for half off through Verizon and the wireless charge style mod for $20 through Best Buy. I’ve spent about $530 for the phone with the best mods. Even then it still doesn’t really feel worth it. Part of that might be because my daily driver is the iPhone X, which is one of the best, if not the best phone on the market. The Z2 Force even with nearly half the mods at less than 1/3 of what I payed for my X with Apple Care and the fast charger still feels like a poor value. I really see Motorola just launching a Z3 Play next year with whatever the equivalent of the 630 is at that time.

Nice, didn’t know that Gamepad mod was out already. Too bad Moto ruined the batteries in the Z2 phones and plastic display on the Z2 Force this year or I’d have one and would pick some of these Mods up.

  The gamepad was half off at Verizon on Black Friday, and for the battery AT&T had Incipio offgrid Mod for only 10 around that time as well.

    I bought 2 and at that price and AT&T refused to honor them. If you go through the comments on that product on AT&T there’s a ton of comments saying AT&T just cancelled their order. That’s what happened to me.

      I went directly to store, they had around 4. The store rep said they couldn’t price match what was online, but checked the in store price and it was 10.

        AT&T customer service told me to go to the store, I went to my local AT&T and they didn’t have any. They didn’t even know they sold the Moto Z2 Force. The first rep I spoke to insisted it was a Verizon exclusive, and that they would never sell accessories for a competitor’s device.

  The Z2 Force at $375 (T-Mobile) is much more palatable than $700 or 800 when it was released. I believe it was even down to $300 with a free projector mod for BF/Cyber Monday. Just add a battery mod and throw on a glass screen protector and you’re good.

  Motorola has some crazy optimization. The 835 sips power to boot. My Z2 Force for streaming video at Max brightness easily pulls in 5-6 hours on a 2730 mah battery. I use it as a secondary phone with my iPhone X and it makes it through a day easily, on admittedly lighter use.
