Man Utd news: Jose Mourinho MOCKED by Real Madrid opponents Al Jazira

REAL MADRID are set to face Al Jazira in the Club World Cup this afternoon (5pm), but their coach Henk ten Cate has taken a huge dig at Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho in the build up.

Al Jazira boss Henk ten Cate has taken a swipe at Jose Mourinho.

The United Arab Emirates outfit go into the semi-final clash knowing they face a daunting task if they are to get to Sunday’s final.

And boss Ten Cate has indicated that he will set his team up in a defensive system - just like Mourinho.

The United manager has often come under criticism this season for sitting back in big matches, none-more-so than the Manchester derby defeat at the weekend.

Ten Cate has even had the cheek to ask if Mourinho will lend them two buses to put in front of their goal to stop the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale.

Mourinho has taken a lot of criticism for playing negative football.

Maybe Mourinho can come by and stick two more buses in front of our goal.

"We need three buses,” Ten Cate joked.

“Maybe Mourinho can come by and stick two more buses in front of our goal.

"Dreaming is OK, but you must not become stupid, you must be realistic. And if you are realistic, the chances of winning are not really big.

"The difference in quality is just too huge. But my team will fight, like they did before, they will fight until the bitter end.”

Ten Cate went on to explain how his players have only ever dreamed of facing opposition such as Real Madrid, who won the competition last season.

"It's kind of funny as the same boys playing the PlayStation on the bus are tomorrow facing the real stars. It's really for them probably a life-changing situation,” he added.

"If you look up to big players, we watch every day the Spanish, German and English leagues, now you are facing someone like Cristiano Ronaldo who has won five Ballon d'Ors.

"And now you are standing next to him in the tunnel to enter the field to play a game against him. I can only imagine what that means to those boys. They are super motivated, I hope they are not too nervous, it's going to be alright I think."
