Sir — Events preceding the election in Gujarat have degenerated to the most dismal levels in living memory. Clearly, bizzare narratives are being promoted by both the BJP and the Congress, with both parties using extravagantly bellicose rhetorics. While one party puts on a mask to pander to religious sentiments by making multiple trips to the temple, the other party goes to the extreme of involving other countries like Pakistan. Voters in Gujarat should not be carried away by these theatrics.
