(MENAFN - Muscat Daily) Muscat- The Marathi Wing of the Indian Social Club, popularly known as Muscat Marathi Mitra Mandal (4M), conducted the event 'Glimpses of the World (GoW) Tour of Currency talk show and exhibition' at the Indian Social Club Hall.

Celebrated presenter Sanjay N Joshi (ex-dy manager of a Nationalised Indian bank) presented his collection of currency notes, coins and stamps of 193 nations in the exhibition. Viewers were able to take a close look at coins, currency notes and stamps of the entire world covering all six continents and were able to get acquainted with the rich history behind these currencies.

Joshi has conducted 100 exhibitions, workshops and seminars of currency notes, coins and stamps in various prestigious schools, colleges, corporate offices, banks, Rotary clubs etc all over India. This event was his 101st exhibition and first event outside of India.

Neelu Rohra, Second Secretary (Community Welfare), Embassy of India, Muscat, Oman inaugurated the exhibition and appreciated the efforts of Joshi in sharing his passion with the Indian community in Muscat. Dr Satish Nambiar, chairman of ISC and Matharoo, ISC Observer, graced the occasion as chief guest and guest of honour, respectively. B P Kulkarni, country head of operations, Air India, and his wife were also felicitated by 4M during this event.
