The Irishwoman was one of the most decorated amateur boxers in the world with 2012 Olympic gold and five world titles to her name.
She turned professional last year and racked up six wins in just eight months before fighting Sanchez for the WBA world lightweight title on the undercard of Anthony Joshua vs Carlos Takam in Cardiff.
She took a convincing points victory, losing just one round, and will now hold her first defence, fighting as a headline act for the first time against American Jessica McCaskill at London’s famous York Hall venue.

Unusually, the packed card will take place on a Wednesday night in London.
Taylor vs McCaskill is scheduled for Wednesday December 13 at York Hall in Bethnal Green, east London.
