Channi said that the proposal was seriously considered in the presence of senior officers of the state government and an agreement would soon be inked by the Punjab Government.

“Punjab Government is making all round efforts to provide skill training to the youth of the state and provide employment opportunities in the country besides inking accords with the foreign companies to make available job opportunities to them abroad also,” said Channi.

Under this plan, the foreign firms too are coming forward to sign agreements to establish skill development centres in Punjab, he said.
