Janpath Road blocked, metro station shut down

The police, on Monday, detained nine Tibetans for allegedly protesting outside Imperial Hotel where the Chinese delegation is staying. The delegation includes China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi.

Suspecting demonstrations, the police, “for security reasons” had shut down Janpath Metro Station and blocked Janpath Road for the public which made commuting difficult for many.
