The Golden Globes revealed their nominees early Monday morning. On Tuesday, the 2018 Emmys shared its date and time.
The 70th Primetime Emmy Awards are scheduled to air live coast-to-coast Monday, September 17, 2018 (8-11 p.m. ET / 5-8 p.m. PT) on NBC. The best-on-TV celebration will take place at the Microsoft Theater at L.A. Live in downtown Los Angeles.
That’s actually exactly one year to the day of the 2017 CBS telecast. How? Well, we’re going back from Sunday to Monday — an NBC tradition — in 2018.
The last time NBC had the Emmys on its airwaves they were scheduled in August instead. The more things stay the same, the more they change? (Or something like that.)
