The leader of Ukip in Scotland said the rules and regulations brought in by Brussels would drive business to Britain after it leave the European Union.
Speaking in European Parliament, he said: “Do you think with all these rules and regulations that are being brought in by the European Union, on the back of this report, that businesses are going to flood into the UK immediately after Brexit?"
He said that the UK was a place where people could feel their money was “safe”.
Mr Coburn added: “Because people want to put their money where they feel it’s safe.

The Brexit Secretary said it would also set out “individual arrangements for aviation, nuclear and for data”.
The EU27 are meeting to decide whether sufficient progress has been made on Brexit talks.
Despite the European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker, and its chief Brexit negotiator saying they believed enough had been done, the final decision lies with the member states.
