‘Boy’ Pereira discharged in five of eight desecration cases

Colva: Francisco 'Boy' Pereira was discharged from the Krishna temple desecration case by JMFC, Margao, Carlos Da Silva. With this, he is discharged from five of the eight vandalism cases registered against him by the Margao police. Defence advocate Eric Coutinho moved an application before the court to discharge him as there was no evidence against him. Pereira was accused of damaging the tulsi vrindavan and Nandi idol at the Krishna Temple at Calconda, Margao.


The other cases he has been discharged from include desecrations of the Alma Khuris at Chandor, Our Lady of Vailankanni shrine at Paroda, an idol at Veroda-Cuncolim and a temple at Paroda.
