Blackmailer held for threatening to post pics on social media

KUWAIT: Detectives arrested a Pakistani man who threatened to post a female citizen’s personal photos on social media if she does not pay him KD 400. The woman’s social media account was hacked by the suspect who blackmailed her and asked for KD 400 so that he does not post her private photos online. The woman obliged to the Pakistani’s request to gain control of her account, and then went to police. Detectives identified and arrested the suspect.
