‘Heisenberg’ opens at Florida Studio Theatre

Simon Stephens play runs through March 4

Two familiar actors return to Florida Studio Theatre but work together for the first time in Simon Stephens’ “Heisenberg.” Kate Alexander directs the production, which features Rachel Moulton as Georgie, a quirky woman dealing with some issues, who surprises a stranger in a London train station when she walks up to him and gives him a kiss. That stranger is Alex, an aging butcher played by George Tynan Crowley. Rather than run away, Alex is intrigued as the two begin an awkward and curious relationship.

“Heisenberg” runs through March 4 in Florida Studio Theatre’s Keating Theatre, 1241 N. Palm Ave., Sarasota. 941-366-9000; floridastudiotheatre.org
