EastEnders spoilers: Max Branning dealt MASSIVE blow as final ally turns on him
MAX BRANNING may lose his last chance at redemption as Stacey Slater strikes him during a fiery Christmas Eve argument in EastEnders.
The pair have enjoyed an amiable relationship in recent times after the huge fall-out from their affair in 2007 tore the Brannings apart.
Stacey has stuck by Max (played by Jake Wood) after everyone else turned their back on him when they discovered his plans to destroy the community.
However, the tension will rise once more as Max comes to blows with his former daughter-in-law.
Stacey (Lacey Turner) tries her best to support her marred ex-lover and invites him into her home but his presence causes friction between him and Stacey’s husband, Martin Fowler (James Bye).
