The Houston-Austin rivalry just grew deeper thanks to a study revealing each city's favorite fajita meat.

Houstonians tend to prefer beef fajitas while Austinites prefer chicken fajitas, data gathered by online food delivery service GrubHub shows.

Both dishes were each city's respective favorite, meaning fajitas were each city's most ordered food.

In Dallas, the most ordered food was burgers.

Other highlights include buttermilk fried chicken in San Francisco, spicy ramen in New York City and chicken taquitos in Chicago.

Aside from finding popular foods in major cities, GrubHub also ranked the most overall popular foods across the nation for 2017. The top five were Poke (a raw fish salad), soft pretzel, avocado toast, chips and queso, and Acai bowl.
