Transfer News LIVE updates: All the latest gossip from Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea and the rest of the Premier League and Europe.

Tuesday, December 12

9.05am: Arsenal have agreed a deal with Sevilla to sign midfielder Steven N'Zonzi, according to reports in Spain.

Arsenal have been heavily linked with a move to bring the former Blackburn and Stoke midfielder back to the Premier League in January.

And Spanish outlet El Gol claim Arsenal have agreed a £35.3m deal to sign the France international, £2.6m of which coming in bonuses.

N’Zonzi is reportedly keen to leave Sevilla after falling out with manager Eduardo Berizzo in last month’s Champions League visit of Liverpool.

8.30am: Guillem Balague has given a major update on Antoine Griezmann possibly moving to Manchester United.

He told Sky Sports: “So what's next for him? Atletico supporters are excited to see him partner Diego Costa, who will finally be available to play next month.

“And while a January departure is not being considered by anybody, the club accept that this will probably be his last season with them.

“He was on his way out last summer. Manchester United made a huge offer and Griezmann spoke to Jose Mourinho directly.

“But much to their surprise, he eventually chose to remain loyal to Atletico. United's interest in Griezmann has not gone away.

“But they might now face competition from Barcelona and even PSG, who have made him one of their primary targets.

“It will be fascinating to see what happens next.

“After a difficult start to the campaign, Griezmann's return to form is a timely reminder of why he is one of the most in-demand players around.”

8am: Arsenal are holding out hope that they can persuade wantaway midfielder Mesut Ozil to remain at the club.

The Gunners looked resigned to losing the German and fellow contract-rebel Alexis Sanchez either for a cut-price in January or on a free next summer.

Both players' current Arsenal deals expire at the end of the season and the duo have been heavily linked with moves to fellow Premier League clubs.

Ozil had reportedly rejected a new £275,000-a-week deal at the club.

But according to the Daily Mirror, Arsenal are hoping a new round of negotiations could persuade the playmaker to stay.

7.30am: Newcastle could take another look at Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi.

That’s according to the Newcastle Chronicle who reckon the Magpies might be tempted to rekindle their interest in the Belgium international.

Despite costing the Blues a hefty £33m, he’s been a relatively peripheral figure at Stamford Bridge.

Newcastle are in poor form and desperately need to strengthen their squad in the New Year.

The Chronicle suggest a loan move could be possible as Rafa Benitez looks to add somme much needed firepower to his front line.

7am: Liverpool hero Michael Owen wants the Reds to sign Southampton defender Virgil van Dijk.

The former England striker believes if Jurgen Klopp can add the Dutchman and Naby Keita he will have a very strong squad to compete on all fronts.

Liverpool's defence has been heavily criticised this season with Dejan Lovren giving away a penalty at the weekend to let Everton earn a point in the first Merseyside derby of the season.

“I agree [Liverpool FC should sign Van Dijk]. Van Dijk is a proper player. If they can get him and Keita in midfield, things are looking up,” Owen told BT Sport.
