(MENAFN - Tribal News Network) MIRANSHAH, 12 December: Two soldiers, including a second lieutenant, embraced martyrdom in an attack of militants in Miranshah, North Waziristan Agency, on Tuesday.
Security sources said the soldiers were on routine patrol in Ali Khel area in the morning when militants opened fire on them. Second Lieutenant Abdul Moeed and Sepoy Basharat embraced martyrdom in the incident, while two other soldiers sustained injuries. The injured soldiers were taken to Miranshah Hospital.
Second Lieutenant Abdul Moeed, 21, hailed from Burewala, Vehari, while Sepoy Basharat, also 21, belonged to Danyor village of Gilgit-Baltistan. Abdul Moeed had recently graduated from the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA), Kakul, while Basharat had three years of military service.
