Indian batting great Rahul Dravid might have long retired from cricket, but the respect for the 'Wall' still remains intact amongst the fans and fellow sports personalities. The former Indian skipper has now found a fan in WWE star and 16-time world champion John Cena who took to Instagram to share an inspirational quote of the legendary cricketer.

Cena post reads, “You don’t play for revenge, you play for respect and pride". This post of the wrestler was an instant hit with the WWE Universe as well as the cricketing fans across the world.

The viral post has received over 149,000 likes thus far.

Dravid was always respected by his teammates and rivals for his calm and composed nature both on and off the field. He never got embroiled in controversies which is not a small feat since cricketers are always at the center of news and scrutiny of media. Dravid has played 164 Tests and 344 One Day Internationals for India scoring 13288 runs and 10889 runs respectively. The 44-year-old also led the Indian side in 25 Tests and 79 ODI's with a winning percentage of 32 per cent and 53.16 per cent respectively.

Rahul Dravid is currently the coach of U-19 Indian cricket team which is all set to take part in ICC U-19 World Cup next year.

John Cena was last seen in the squared circle in the recently concluded Survivor Series held in November. The leader of Cenation was part of the traditional Survivor Series elimination match representing team Smackdown and ended on the losing side against team RAW.
