‘A Christmas Carol’ features swan song for Scrooge

Venice Theatre production runs Dec. 15-21

Venice Theatre hosts a holiday tradition with its 18th annual production of “A Christmas Carol,” featuring the final performances of its star. Eric Watters, who has played the role of Ebenezer Scrooge in this version of Charles Dickens’ holiday classic for 16 years, will retire from the role after this year. Venice Theatre executive and artistic director Murray Chase returns to direct for his own 16th year, as does music director Michelle Kasanofsky.
