Dubai: UAE National Team met at the Marriot Hotel Dubai on Monday in preparation for the 23rd Gulf Cup to be held in Kuwait from Dec.22-Jan.5, with the participation of national teams of Gulf States.

The squad includes 26 players: Khalid Eisa, Mohanad Al Enzi, Ismail Ahmed, Saeed Juma, Mohamed Ahmed, Mohamed Abdulrahman, Ahmed Barman, Omar Abdulrahman, Ryan Yaslam (Al Ain), Ali Khesif, Faris Juma, Ahmed Al Attas, Ali Mabkhout, Khalfan Mubarak (Al Jazira), Mohamed Al Shamsi, Mohamed Bargash (Al Wahda), Khalifa Mubarak, Mohmoud Khamis, Salem Saleh, Jasem Yaqoob (Al Nasr), Ali Salmeen, Salem Al Azeezi (Al Wasl), Khamis Ismail, Abdulaziz Sanqour (Shabab Al Ahli-Dubai), Abdulrahman Yousuf (Al Dhafra) and Ahmed Mal Allah (Emirates).

Khalil, Hammadi in

The star players Ahmed Khalil, Majid Hassan, Ismail Al Hammadi and Sultan Al Munzeri have also been included in the squad for the camp which will wind up on Dec.19.

Two friendlies have been scheduled as part of the preparation, versus Ecuador and Algeria on Dec.27 and Dec.23 respectively.

Al Jazira Players will join the team after finishing their participation in FIFA Club World Cup UAE 2017 in which it achieved two wins in a row, in anticipation for their big game versus Real Madrid next Wednesday.
