After months of speculations and rumours, the couple of moment Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma tied the knot in Milan, Italy on Monday. For the day wedding, Anushka wore a pale pink lehenga. The lehenga featured embroidery in vintage colours with a mix of silver and gold metal threads, pearls and beads. Virat also went for a Sabyasachi outfit. He was seen wearing an ivory raw silk sherwani. The sherwani featured hand-embroidery in a vintage Benarasi pattern. Matching with the bride, he chose a silk safa in pink hue.
Looking every bit regal for her engagement ceremony, she opted for a velvet sari. The burgundy hued sari featured hand-embroidery using miniature pearls and finest zardosi and marori. Keeping it classy, Virat suited up in a dark blue suit paired with a black waistcoat.
Anushka's wedding outfits were crafted by ace designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee. "For her mehendi, Anushka wanted a boho look full of bright colours. Hot pink was her favourite," Sabyasachi said in a statement. "We created a graphic lehenga in fuchsia pink and Indian orange.
