SNAP 2017 Last time preparation: Boost your score by 25% by focusing on last 2 years current affairs

Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) is going to be held on 17^th December 2017. And, from this year, the format of the exam will be online. The duration of this exam is of 2 hours and a total of 150 questions will be asked. The break-up goes like this: 40 questions each from the sections of General English, Analytical & Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude & Data Sufficiency along-with 30 questions from the section of General Awareness. SNAP 2017 exam is based on sectional cut offs, which means you have to score highest marks in each of the four sections to get shortlisted in the first stage of cut off list. Getting a good score in all the four sections in SNAP 2017 Exam will surely lead to your admission in any of top 15 Symbiosis B-schools MBA 2018-20 batch.

Here are some last time preparation tips for each of the four sections:

General Awareness

Important! Please note that the SNAP GK syllabus is now restricted to last 2 years stories on current affairs. It gives you an added advantage to boost your score by 25% in the upcoming SNAP exam 2017. Now, you don’t need to go through a whole range of general awareness study material for preparation. Just focus on the current affairs of past 2 years as most of the questions in this section are going to be asked from this time period. Therefore, as few days are left, quickly go through the popular news stories of the past two years and stand a chance to get high score in the exam.

General English

Needless to say, English is probably the scoring section in SNAP entrance exam. Make sure to quickly go through some practice sets in verbal abilities and reading comprehension. Also, in the last few days, don’t forget to solve some antonyms and synonyms exercises. This will not only build up your vocabulary but also develop your communication skills for the personal interview process. And, you can revise such subjects on the go.

Analytical & Logical reasoning

There’s no shortcut to this section of analytical and logical reasoning. This section is quite tough and requires continuous practice. We hope that you have carried your preparation in the right way. Nevertheless, as a few days for the exam are left, what you can do is start solving some previous year SNAP exam paper, particularly the reasoning section as this will give you an upper edge and confidence before appearing for the final exam.

Quantitative Ability and data sufficiency

It is generally seen that SNAP test lays strong importance on the arithmetic questions. And, this section requires constant practice. Now, what you can do is quickly go through the main formulas and memorize them by heart as they will help you to solve quant problems quickly. So, as few days are left, make sure to revise the important formulas and do remember to solve 3 or 4 practice papers on Quantitative Ability and data sufficiency.

Important Instructions for SNAP 2017 exam

• Candidates are required to report at the center latest by 12:00 PM with admit card and ID proof. Thereafter, digital finger print scan and biometrics will be captured to verify the identity of candidates.

• After 2:10 PM no candidates will be allowed to appear for the SNAP Online exam 2017

• The SNAP Online test 2017 will close at 4:00 PM, and no extra time will be allotted in any case whatsoever.

• Admit card and ID proofs are mandatory and candidates must carry these documents along with them

• Duration of the test is of 2 hours, which will be from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

• Candidates can attempt any sections in any order, and there’s no restriction as such on that.
