NOT FARE: easyJet accused of raising price of flights ahead of Champions League matches

Liverpool supporters heading to Porto will fork out more than the cost of a ticket to Australia.

One fuming fan tweeted that the Champions League “rip-off has started already” with a flight to Porto from Manchester priced at £693.

And Manchester City fans looking to go to Basel in Switzerland will have to pay £434.

But an easyJet spokesman denied they had put fares up, adding: “Our pricing is demand-led, which meant that as quick-thinking football fans booked seats the lower priced fares sold out.”

TOP MATCH: Antonio Conte and the Blues will face Barcelona in February

Meanwhile Chelsea fans can look forward to a trip to Barcelona as the Blues take on the Spanish giants.

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte fears his stars are suffering from burn out and is downbeat over his side’s chances against Barcelona in February.

And he has already conceded defeat in the battle to retain the Premier League title after losing to West Ham on Saturday.
