The Tesla Model S is one of the benchmark electric cars on sale.
Its awesome acceleration has been shown-off in drag races against performance cars and supercars and the top-spec models have more range than any other electric cars, currently on sale.
Now, a Shooting Brake version of the car will go on sale in March 2018.
A London-based Dutch car designer has led a team who is creating the Model S Shooting Brake variant.
RemetzCar has not yet revealed official pictures of the car, but design sketches reveal an indication of what is being modified.
The car gets a longer roofline leading to the larger rear-end.
This more practical re-imaginging of the all-electric saloon car does, however, retain front and rear lights, wheel and some of the bodywork of the original car.
Only 20 examples of the car will be built by the Dutch coach maker with deliveries expected to take place in March 2018.

Dutch designer Niels van Roi, who was behind the team that led the design, said: “Based on extensive design research, we developed the brand DNA for the Shooting Brake.

“The conversion merges seamlessly with the Tesla base vehicle, whilst clearly communicating though form, design language and materials that this is a tailor-made Shooting Brake.
“The aesthetics of this conversion have been developed thoroughly by producing 3 design propositions, within which 16 different design themes were generated.
“Our research focused on benchmarking high end performance station cars, one-off vehicles and market trends.”

How the car’s will be affected by the modifications including how much more room there will be inside the car, the car’s weigh and aerodynamic performance of the car are also unknown.
RemetzCar are known for stretching luxury cars in limousines.
It is not the first time the company has modified a Tesla car with the Model S previously being converted into a hearse.
