“Showers could return” – Met Department 
Met Department says that the showery condition is expected to enhance to some extent during next few days particularly during the afternoon.
Several spells of showers will occur in the Uva and Eastern provinces.
Showers or thundershowers may occur at a few places in the Central, Sabaragamuwa, Western and North-western provinces and in the Galle and Matara districts after 2 pm.
Mainly fair weather will prevail elsewhere.
Misty conditions can be expected at some places in the Western, North-western, Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces during the morning.
The Met Department also request the general public to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
