HABIGANJ: The driver and helper of a pickup van were killed and several others injured in a head-on collision between a truck and the pickup on Madhabpur upazila highway early Tuesday (December 12).
Details of the deceased couldn’t be known immediately.
Shaistaganj Highway Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md Jashim Uddin Khandaker told Banglanews that the pickup van collided face-to-face with a Sylhet-bound truck on the highway in Ratanpur area, in the morning, leaving the duo spot-dead.
The bodies were kept at the highway police station.
Of the injured, one was admitted to the upazila health complex in critical condition.
