The outspoken presenter, 52, went on another of his infamous tirades against those who have been struck down by the recent snow flurries across the country. 

Susanna, 47, branded Piers "the biggest whiner I know" after he went on a rant about everyone who moans about the adverse weather conditions.

"You moan and whine about everything," swiped the brunette beauty. 

However, Piers insisted that he "only whines about people who whine", but he didn't see a surprise swipe coming his way. 

Weatherman Alex Beresford snapped: "Yesterday, you wanted a car from here to The Mondrian, that's 200 yards away."

Susanna added insult to injury, commenting: "Piers said in the meeting, 'Has anyone got a cab going home and can I get a lift 200 yards to my hotel room?'"

After a noticeably long silence, Piers tried to explain himself, adding: "If I may point out, I had surrendered my chauffeur driven seats and valiantly offered to walk the 200 yards to the hotel, where I was residing yesterday and it was pouring with rain.

"Either I risk getting man flu…" he continued, before being interjected by Susanna. 

The Good Morning Britain beauty insisted: "A spot of rain! It wasn't like this in the old days. 

"I would call and mummy would come and collect me," she teased.
