The Chase: Bradley Walsh SILENCES celebrity contestant in moment of rage
Basil Brush appeared on the ITV show alongside fellow stars Hockey player Sam Quek, presenter Andi Peters and writer Charlie Higson.
The fictional fox, best known for his catchphrase ‘Ha Ha Ha! Boom! Boom!’, went head-to-head with The Vixen to win £8,000 for his team.
But the children TV favourite appeared to irritate Bradley, 57, as he selected an answer to the second question which asked for the title of Billy Connolly’s 1975 comedy single.
Explaining his choice, Basil Brush said: “I feel quite confident about that.”

Mimicking the musician’s Scottish accent, he sang: “I seem to remember him singing D.I.V.O.R.C.E.”
However, Bradley didn’t seem too pleased with his impression as he glared at the contestant.
Basil added: “I think that was how he did it. Did he not? The accent lets me down.”
Seemingly annoyed with Basil Brush’s singing, Bradley silenced the fox by muzzling him.

Viewers couldn’t believe their eyes when they saw Basil Brush take on the Chaser with many stating it was the best moment ever on TV.
One fan wrote: “It's taken 11 and a half months but the highlight of 2017 has arrived. Basil Brush on The Chase is my new favourite thing.”
