Double Olympic medalist wrestler Sushil Kumar is all set to make his debut in the third season of the Pro Wrestling League (PWL).
“I am extremely happy that I will make my debut in PWL. Globally, PWL has emerged as top most event for wrestling champions. The interest, prize money, TV reach and fan frenzy is unparalleled. I am confident of leaving a strong imprint on this league,” said Sushil, who would fight in 74kg, after signing for the league.
The 74kg weight category is likely to include former European champion Jabrayil Hasanov, Olympic medalist Akzhurek Tanatarov, Asian champion Bekzod Abdurakhmonov, Olympian Jakob Makarashvili and Tariel Gaprindashvili.
Besides, Olympic gold medallist and World champion Helen Maroulis from the USA, Olympic bronze medallist Sakshi Malik and World championship medallist Bajrang Punia are the other star wrestlers who will be seen in action in forthcoming PWL.
