Strictly Come Dancing 2017: Claudia Winkleman drops Joe McFadden bombshell after THAT lift

CLAUDIA WINKLEMAN dropped a bombshell about current favourite Joe McFadden on last night's Strictly Come Dancing.

The 42-year-old Holby City star seriously impressed judges with his stunning American Smooth and Argentine Tango, scoring a combined total of 70.

However, when Joe and his professional partner Katya Jones went to talk to Claudia, 45, they got a little shock.

The presenter revealed: "Can I just say, you are officially the first Scot to make it to the semi-final!"

Joe seemed pleased with the fact, replying: "So I hear, I'm flying the flag!"

The pair stunned with an incredibly tricky lift

What's more, should he make it to the final, he will make history there again.

The actor is currently set to lift the Glitterball trophy after appearing to go on a favourable "journey", according to bookmakers.

During their Argentine Tango routine last night, Joe and Katya stunned Strictly Come Dancing fans with an incredibly difficult balance move.

The pair showed off their core strength as they went parallel on each other, prompting BBC viewers to completely lose it.
