Manchester City triumphed in the Manchester derby by beating rivals United 2-1 to go 11 points clear in the title race. 

However, Chelsea’s hopes of defending their Premier League crown have taken a blow after Antonio Conte’s men were beaten 1-0 by West Ham. 

Arsenal came from behind to rescue a point against Southampton while Tottenham emphatically beat Stoke 5-1 at Wembley and Everton draw 1-1 with Liverpool.
