Golden Globe 2018 nominations: Game of Thrones snubbed as show receives just ONE nod
GAME OF THRONES actors have been snubbed by the Golden Globes after it announced the HBO series was only nominated for one award today.
The nominees for the 75th annual award show was revealed by a host of familiar faces, including Sharon Stone and Kristen Bell, in Beverly Hills.
However, Game of Thrones only muscled one nomination for Best Television Series Drama as none of their actors were put forward for an award.
Fans of the hit HBO series took to Twitter to complain about the lack of nominations, with one fuming: “OK, I’m bummed Lena Headey didn’t get nominated. She deserves all the awards. #GameOfThrones #GoldenGlobes.”

While another added: “Hmmm, did #GameOfThrones not have any acting nominations or did I miss something?”
“#GoldenGlobes sadness = No #LifeInPieces, #GameOfThrones acting nods,” wrote a third.

Game of Thrones was nominated in the same category as The Crown, Stranger Things, This is Us and The Handmaid’s Tale.
Meanwhile, Big Little Lies, starring Rese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman and Shailene Woodley was nominated for five awards.
Netflix hit The Crown and Fargo both received two nominations.
The Golden Globes Awards will be hosted by Seth Meyers and will air January next year on NBC.
