Two dead
Two of the three youths who were riding a bike died when their vehicle hit a goods van on Kakati road in Belagavi on Sunday night.
Balakrishna Maruti Pingat (24) of Batkhande galli and Vinayak Raghunath Jadhav (25) of Bapat galli died on the spot. Pratik Subhas Jadhav (26), who was seriously injured, has been admitted to the district hospital.
The three were going to Barde dhaba. They hit a Canter vehicle coming from the opposite side. Police have seized the van.
